To Keep It Simple
Tent camping seems to be better when things are kept simple. Most people who RV also find that keeping things simple make a camping trip far more enjoyable. It can be frustrating to find that you have too many “things” to carry or setup. Constantly cleaning and keeping track of stuff are two activities that you’d rather leave off of the list while you are camping. Camping tips to keep it simple are spread out all over the internet, but here is a list of tips that will help you make your camping trip simpler and more enjoyable all around:
- Meal clean up is made easy with aluminum foil. Using aluminum foil and foil pans to cook meals is one of the greatest things you can do to make clean up quick and easy. When you can just toss the foil, you have more time to take in all the reasons you love camping the most.
- Keep toiletries light with travel sizes and more. Travel sized toiletries are the perfect way to have all you need and save up space. If you have a favorite brand of something that doesn’t come in a travel size, then transfer it to a travel container. One great way to carry toothpaste are these toothpaste dots. They are genius, and especially nice for backpackers.
- De-clutter the RV kitchen or outdoor cooking space. It is nice to have certain spices and cooking tools on hand for when you are camping, but reality is that sometimes space is limited. Re-packaging spices is a unique way to save space and have the taste you’re looking for from your camp meals. Travel spices can go into empty tic-tac boxes, for instance. - Take vinegar along for the trip. Vinegar has got so many uses, and you will be glad you packed it. Put it on poison ivy and oak to help out, keep water bottles clean with a couple of drops of apple cider vinegar, deter bugs, and clean tents and tarps with this wonderful liquid. Vinegar is certainly a must-have to keep camping simple.
